There a 2 different block of the months starting this year-besides the one that is all ready going. The Comforts of Home by G. E. Designs each month you will receive and bonus pattern. This quilt is more traditional with some appliqué. The 2nd BOM is appliqué by Story Quilts Garden Patch Cats. This quilt has the possibilities of 28 block of the cutest cats all vegetables or fruit. Let’s see what fun we can have.

Quilter’s Quarters has had new rulers and pattern arriving all the time. New fabric will be arriving shortly. There are some really great fabrics with wonderful prints and colours. Come in and check it out.

Harriet has agreed to do 2 classes in Kenora. There are now openings for the classes. The fee is $175.00 + hst for all 3 classes. She will be doing a quilting class for 2 days and her way to appliqué. Harriet’s classes are filled with lots of information and ideas. She is a great teacher and educator. Harriet is one of the orginial quilters and designer of these techniques. The dates are April 17th -19th and April 20th – 22nd, 2012.

I am just finishing up the Harriet Hargrave course. Details will be e-mailed to each registered student. We will have a great time and learn lots of fun quilting ideas.

Remember that the Manitoba Prairie Quilters show is April 13th, 14th & 15th. Come and check out the quilt show and the vendors. This is always a fun event.

Store Class Policy

When signing up for classes, to guarantee your place, payment must be made at time of registration.

We will not reserve space without payment, no acceptions

Visa/MC accepted for call in or e-mail registration
* Prices do not include HST *

Special Workshops-Guest Teachers the fee is required at the time of registration and if you are unable to attend, we will try and find someone to take your spot, but if not the fee is non refundable.

Minimum of 3 paid registrations is required for class to proceed. If you are unable to attend a class you may ask a friend to take your place.

Supply lists are available at first class. We’ll be happy to help you with your choices. Quilter’s Quarters will have all products available to complete the projects.

All Classes require that you supply your own:

• Basic sewing kit
• Rotary cutter and mat
• Rulers
• Scissors
• Sewing machine in good working condition

Store tools will not be available

Due to copyright laws, class participants are required to purchase the pattern or book for class if applicable.

If you are not enrolled in a class, Please do not disturb the class, as time is limited.

New Store Policy

As you know we always welcome drop-in sewers. As this has become very popular, and due to increased business costs, there will be a fee for drop-in sewers starting June 1, 2010 payable at the beginning of each month. There will be a monthly fee of $10.00 for multiple monthly drop-ins, or $5.00 per day for occasional drop-ins.

We are asking that you call ahead to make sure there is room and that a class is not scheduled.

When you call to arrange a convenient time please make me aware if you will require my assistance that day on the project you are working. If I assist you, the fee of $25.00 will be payable the same day for my instruction
